Synopsis 
 
Yamato stands at a threshold, as the game of Go echoes throughout the land. Not since the Dawn War have the Minato and Tachibana been forced to retreat, an omen of a changing tide. Toya, determined to fulfill his mother’s dream, sets in play a plan that he hopes will ensure the rise of the Seimei’s golden sun for generations to come. Kagero sets off on the Jinkō trail, chasing the shadows of Ashiya Dōman. As he crosses the Rokko mountains, and enters the land of the Bizen Onmyōji, he soon finds himself deep in the den of cats. As the Sanuki raven races to Heian-kyō, the Seimei brothers will soon find themselves at a crossroads. The Awa have fallen, and a new republic declared.
