Synopsis 
 
In a fracturing Heian-kyo, the two heirs of the once-mighty Seimei clan are driven apart by duty and grief. Toya, once the famed prodigy, now clings to tradition to keep the peace and his only family alive. While Kagero forges his own path, determined to find the true reason behind their parents’ death.
 
The Fujiwara, determined to restore their clan’s ancient line, threaten to overthrow the Seimei from within. While Hispania, desperate to defend their northern border, begins the game of ravens. Though they both soon realise they're not the only players in Heian-kyo.
 
With local and foreign powers circling the Semei's fragmented lands, and as ancient pacts unravel. The two brothers must decide if their bond is strong enough to save their clan. As each chooses their own path, they will soon learn that there is far more hiding in the shadows of Heian-kyo than they ever realised.
