Synopsis 
 
The Seimei brothers, once fractured, now stand as one, but peace is still but a fleeting dream. Toya, freed from the regrets of his past, sets in motion a long-dreamed plan. One he hopes will see Heian-kyō rise once more. Kagero, in search of truths long buried, travels to the cities and clans beyond Heian-kyō.

Nankaidō, the island home of the Sanuki. A place of misty mountains, verdant plains and hidden shrines. The Shibata clan, an ally of the Seimei, sends a raven calling for aid.
